I agree with Naps. Run production and OPS trump the other guys. And he stole nearly more that half the bases of #3

Bonds, Pendleton, and Bonilla in 1991. Pendleton got it, because Bonds and Bonilla were teammates.

Ah..the old teammates splitting the vote deal..tough luck for bonds. Would that have made it 9 MVP's for him then?

if sportswriters wouldn't have sprouted an underdog chub for the twins that September, they would have seen that the award should have gone to Jeter, a legend, and not a canuck.
