Rocky Times In Denver

With all of the drama going on within the Denver Broncos organization, it appears, at least to me, that the chances of Jay Cutler being traded are increasing quickly. A Pro-Bowler this past season, Cutler has become upset over reports that the new head coach had discussions about the possibility of trading Cutler to the New England Patriots. The Vikings already made a move at quarterback this offseason by trading a fourth round pick to the Houston Texans for Sage Rosenfels. Rosenfels is expected to compete with Cutler's fellow 2006 draftee Tarvaris Jackson for the starting job. Are the Vikes still in the mix or are they set?

I sure hope they are in the mix...T-Joke and Sage Pussenfells are not gonna cut it.

my gut tells me that the vikes front office is fine with where they are at quarterback. I disagree with them, if that is what they are thinking. I am also guessing that Jackson will win the battle for the starting job.

They keep saying that they won't rule it out...but they don't seem to really be going after someone. I sure hope they do. Cutler is a stud...that would be awesome.

I was reading today that Cutler skipped a team meeting and has officially requested a trade. Cutler says he wants out, but the Broncos are saying they want to mend the relationship and keep him. Maybe the Vikes do have a chance. I'm predicting it right now...The Vikes end up getting Cutler for Rosenfells and a pick and they go on to win the Superbowl next year.
