lets re-revisit
I just wanted to make it perfectly clear. On September the second in 2008, TheRiot predicted the Pittsburgh Steelers winning Super Bowl XLIII. Its my gift and my curse.
props. not many pick it that early. my only counter-argument: you took a pretty safe pick with the steelers. they contend, like, what? every year?
side note: why was warner's fumble not reviewed? or even talked about...by anyone!?!? not saying they would have won, but how does that play not even get looked at with such little time left?
Riot, after looking at the 2 replays they showed (yeah, only 2), I also think that it was incomplete. It was clearly questionable enough to look at it more closely than a 2 second booth review (which I'm not sure ever happened).
1. Naps is in charge here. He breaks the rules when it is necessary. Don't reference the rules after things he's posted. If he broke one, it's more than likely because you said something stupid.
2. While racial slurs and shots at people's sexual preference can be funny, use them sparingly. We do like to sound somewhat intelligent here.
3. This is a blog about sports played by other people. No one cares how well you golfed last weekend.
4. Don't start consecutive posts for topics that are closely related. (e.g. Don't write about Livan Hernandez in one post then start a new post five minutes later whining about Mike Lamb.)
5. New posts are for new topics. Don't bring up old issues.

seriosly!? I'm still kinda pissed about that. Its the f'n superbowl. Make sure you get it right.
the league said that it was reviemed by the booth official, who decided it was not needed to take it to the field.
I thought that it was incomplete.
as for the "safe pick," i prefer the term logical pick.
