Hot Stove Getting Hotter

Angels sign Abreu for a huge bargain (1yr/5mil+incentives).

Nats sign Dunn for undisclosed amount (2 year deal).

Manny's stock looks like it will continue to go down.

good signing for the angels. He is baloney in the field, but is a perfect #2 hitter.
good signing for dunn, not so much the nats. where do they play him? they have a good young OF and Nick Johnson at 1B. He is a DH.
Scott Boras should be fired. Dodgers' owner mccourt says manny will be signed soon.

his balogna fielding is exactly why he will be our dh.

Dunn got 2 years/20 mil. Not bad for a guy who will hit 40 HRs and give you an unreal OPS. I like the Abreu move because it gives them another legit outfielder. I would have been worried going into the season with Rivera/Matthews/Willits at the other corner outfield position. It's too bad the twins couldn't find any bargains this offseason...

with abreu and vlad, they now have two immobile OF. They now must play figgins at 3B instead of giving wood a chance. Now they got Rivera (again), and Vlad and Abreu who should all bat everyday, but they cannot afford to play them all in the field everyday. They weren't shrewd enough to figure this out, but keen enough to cut Garret Anderson.
