I think its going to be a more intruiging game than the experts think. Ward is banged up, and with my PT knowledge, I don't think he will be a factor in the passing game. I doubt he will be able to be explosive out of his cuts and may only be utilized as a run blocker. I saw across the bottom line that Big Ben suffered a rib injury in the AFC championship game. The Cards D has played great in the playoffs, and with Pitt's two best offensive weapons banged up, the onus is on Willie Parker to have a great game.
Then there is the high flying offense versus the best D in the league. Great defense usually beats great offense, but with two weeks to prepare, it's going to depend on which coaching staff gameplanned the best. It should be fun to watch them go at it.
I am withholding my prediction til Sunday.
just make sure you get it in by game time...
Steelers to cover the spread
I'm gonna say Steelers win, but don't cover the spread. 24-21 Steelers. Arizona might put up some points early, but I think as the game goes on, Pitt is gonna slow them down and beat up Warner and they will be able to run the clock out in the 2nd half. I do think Willie Parker has a big game.
I agree with Killah on the type of game that will be played. Steelers have a good defense - mostly because of Troy Palamala who is phenomanal.
You just can't defend Fitzgerald. I think Arizona points up more points and wins it. Arizona is the hottest team right now.
Arizona by 4. Also Rooting for Arizona despite thinking Warner is just in the right places at the right time.
i pick arizona to do everything. win, score more points, allow less points, etc.
