Tubby and the Golden Gophers have proven they are for real with a big win AT Wisconsin. They play great team basketball and are the best team in the conference without any all-conference type players.Besides Erin Andrews, College Basketball is the hottest thing on TV. Where've you been piranhas? you should start comin out to the bars with us...and by the way...college everything sucks. That's why we have pro sports. College basketball is boring, just like college football. Nobody (and by nobody, I mean anybody with any sports knowledge) cares about college sports.

I could admit that SOME Big10 games can be boring, but big east and ACC basketball is not boring.
Defense does not have to be boring, it shows effort and intensity. Watching Lebron "crab dribble" and shoot uncontested is Boring. Tim Duncan is Boring.

Hockey is most definately boring as is Tim Duncan. And the only reason you don't see defense in the NBA like you see defense in college is because the offense is so much better in the NBA that it makes it look like the defense is not as good. College basketball offense is boring because all they do is pass the ball around the perimiter until someone jacks up a 3. The NBA is all about pick and rolls and trying to get penetration. Much more athletic and much more fun to watch.
Red Dog, you have a terrible sports mind. Any sports fan likes sports because of the competition. It shouldn't matter if it is a pro sport or college sport. The defense in the NBA is super lax until playoff time unless you are the Celtics, and you can't argue that. The college game is intense on both ends of the court. You can see players or teams go on unreal hot streaks. The crowds are always loud and arena are full at the start of the game. It doesn't make any sense to not like one or the other. It's the same game.
