Its looking more and more like the Vikings won't be firing Chili anytime this season...
With that said, who should they go after for head coach and for quarterback during the offseason?
Looks like Warner, Matt Cassel and Derek Anderson might be available through a trade or free agency. Assuming Brady Quinn holds on to the starting job in Cleveland, I think Anderson is a terrific fit with the Vikings. KillahCraig also had an interesting idea with Michael Vick.
Head coach, I'd love to see Bill Cowher in Minnesota.

I don't see Chili going anywhere...
Cassel will demand big bucks...
Quinn got pulled today...
Warner will retire a Cardinal...
I say paying Cassel would be worth it. He's the better back between him and Anderson (who also isn't cheap), so if they're going to pay the money, they may as well get the better player.
I don't want to pay any of those guys. QB has to be the focus of this years draft
Craig, say we do draft a QB in the 1st round...what then? He's probably not gonna be able to start next year. You're the one who has been preaching that the Vikes players are in their primes right now and they need a QB right now.
I think Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco are flukes. Not very often you see a rookie perform as well as they are. I'm not sure I want to take that chance. I would rather pay somebody or make a trade.
Do we give T-Jack another try? Go with Gus? JDB?
I'm not sure Cassel is the better player Naps. He's had 2 spectacular games in a row, but look at the team he's on and the system he is playin in. Not sure the results translate to the Vikings personnel and system. Derek Anderson had a great YEAR last year, not just a couple of games and I don't think this year is all his fault.
If Cassel continues this success however, I may change my mind.
Because none of those guys are significanly better than anything we got. Cassel has Moss and Welker and will be stuck with Berrian and Wade here. Anderson had a fluke last year and is going to command a second rounder plus a later round pick. Warner is old and will only help for a year or two. I'm not the one that stuck us in this situation.
Craig, you never answered my question...who plays QB next year?
