Frerotte was excellent...only one blemish on a ball that probably should have been caught. Very efficient today.
Berrian had a couple of spectacular plays, but only had two catches and a couple of drops...one leading to a pick return for a TD.
AP had his typical day. 130 yards and a TD. He was huge in the second half.
I gotta give it to Jared Allen though. He knocked out the Texans starting QB, Schaub and was dominant all day, finishing with 3 sacks I believe along with a forced fumble. Some people have complained about him, but his is an f'n animal. We're Comin' Jared Allen!
Now lest just hope the Williams boys don't ended up getting suspended.
Are they good, or are they just getting our hopes up again? It is like the hot girl that keeps saying she'll go out with you but she never shows up. But I keep sitting asking.
They have a pretty tough schedule.. Giants, Packers, Cardinal and Buccaneers. I am not sure they can win without the Williams Wall either, and it looks like they will be out 4 games. Jared Allen is good, but a lot of his performance is because of the Williams.
If they play like that every game they will make the playoffs. I'm just not sure it's possible yet.
that was the game the vikings have been looking for all year. bernard with the deep threat, gus with a well-managed game, ap doin his thing, allen putting the fear of god in opposing quarterbacks, etc. if the vikes play like this for the rest of the year, they will turn some major heads.
only problem: the williams situation.
Who I think is comin is the offensive line minus Ryan Cook. I had just typed my opinion as to why, but i typed the stupid word verification word wrong and went to a new site unknowingly. So now i am going to rant on that.
How stupid is this thing? Is it not enough that we have to have a password to post our comments. Sometimes I feel like i've had 20 coors lights when trying to read what the damn word spells. This blog, no matter how sweet, is not important enough to have essentially two passwords. Super weak.
THe Vikes' hope rides on the Williams sisters and the injured shoulder of Jared Allen. If the Vikes can't put pressure on the quarterback, Cedric Griffin is going to be EXPOSED.
Squints, I completely agree. If the Williams are out for 4 games and Allen misses time, the Vikes have no chance defensively during that stretch and I still don't think they are good enough offensively to compensate.
