Hockey isn't interesting.

Tell us why here...

Why do I hate soccer? 90 minutes of utter boredom for 1 second of excitement...maybe. Everybody loves a nil-nil game right? phuck that! Pretty much feel the same way about hockey...not enough goals. Could goalie's pads be any bigger? Good lord.

because when its a tie game with only a little time to go, it is impossible to "manufacture" a goal.

you can pull your goalie and add another scorer to slap the puck around aimlessly, but that isn't the same kind of excitement provided by other sports.

the two minute drill in football, sacrifices in baseball, and the final shot in basketball are actually exciting to watch and offer at least a glimmer of hope for the team on offense. that doesn't exist in hockey. if you're down by one goal with two minutes left to play, you're going to lose (barring a fluke) and there really is nothing you can do about it. that isn't the case in the other sports.

Good points naps. At least they have shootouts now so there aren't so many damn ties. How phuckin anticlimactic, finishing in a tie.

one of the most exciting moments in sports is the six on four power play with less than two to go and the empty net at the other end. They are just blasting the puck at the net repeatedly. What a difference a power play makes.

Riot, your proving naps point...it takes a fluke for that situation to arise (ie the other team has a penalty inside 2 minutes, which very rarely happens because the refs tend to let things go at the end of games - as they should)

thats where you are wrong. when a team is buzzing at the end of the game while trailing, the refs are more likely to call a hook or a hold or some type of obstruction infraction. The only time they put the whistle away is in a tie game late. Learn the game.
