Definately. That guy is a beast! Defense was fantastic again...Rogers was under pressure the whole game.
Frerotte and special teams tried to blow it, but AP was just too much.
How bad was Frerotte though? All 3 of his picks were brutal and he didn't even come close to completing a pass downfield. Everything was underneath routes. Pretty dissapointing considering how well he played last week.
Berrian didn't show up either, but I'm not sure that was completely his fault, plus GB has a very strong secondary.
AP took the game into his own hands. He accounted for every yard on the final drive. O-line did another good job of wearing out the GB front 7-8. Also, good game for Chester Taylor. He and AP accounted for 95% of our offense today.
Defense did another outstanding job. Rodgers didn't have time to throw all day. We kept them to under 100 yards total offense until the 4th quarter, and held tough to force the long field goal for the win.
Then there is Gus, who single-handedly tried to blow the game. He is in there to manage the game, not force terrible throws that end up getting picked. This team is starting to heat up, and we can't have our QB giving games away. This game had all the makings of the Indy game, which we dominated and still lost. We have a tough one on the road agaist Tampa Bay, Tampa Bay next week.
There are a few Packer fans that sit behind me in class everyday and when I arrived at the Law School this morning, two of them were already there and absolutely ranting away about yesterdays game. It was priceless.
Complaining about how Crosby should have made the field goal, saying the Vikes didn't play well and the Pack just sucked, complaining about Viking fans, ranting about how it is just a one game turn around if they win next week and we lose. I think I heard them say something along the lines of, "safeties don't happen in the nfl and two haven't happened in one game in like...uh...fifteen years."
real funny stuff. they were fired up and making some pretty ridiculous statements.
i don't know the meaning behind the picture of the broad in the picture wearing the maid outfit. All I can say is bueno. It should, however, have been the picture of that girl in the weight loss thing in the LBC thingy on the right side. Mui bueno.
1. Naps is in charge here. He breaks the rules when it is necessary. Don't reference the rules after things he's posted. If he broke one, it's more than likely because you said something stupid.
2. While racial slurs and shots at people's sexual preference can be funny, use them sparingly. We do like to sound somewhat intelligent here.
3. This is a blog about sports played by other people. No one cares how well you golfed last weekend.
4. Don't start consecutive posts for topics that are closely related. (e.g. Don't write about Livan Hernandez in one post then start a new post five minutes later whining about Mike Lamb.)
5. New posts are for new topics. Don't bring up old issues.
