New Head Coach Talk

So if this guy actually does end up getting fired....

Who would you like to see brought in? We're talking realistic guys on the market for head coaching jobs.

What do you guys think of Brian Billick?

He has experience in a system that couldn't find a franchise QB. Maybe he learned something that he could bring to the table.

He is supposed to be an offensive guy, but has coached one of the most consistently solid defensive teams over the past five or six years.

I wasn't a huge Billick fan when he was with the Vikings.
I like Dallas' Jason Garrett, but I doubt that would happen.

I was actually gonna mention Billick. Obviously he is familiar with the Vikes organization, albeit not many of the players he coached there are still with the team (if any). But still, I like the idea of bringing in an offensive minded coach with some creativity. Chili is too f'n predictable.

Bill Parcells! haha

I would like to see the Vikes get AP more involved in the passing game kinda like the Eagles and Saints do with Westbrook and Bush. I love Andy Reid's creativity...finding many different ways to get Westbrook the ball.

You know Chili was the OC in Philly before he came to the Vikes right?

Two guys i would like to see. First, Bill Cowher!! How can you not like this guy?? Super intense and consistenly got his teams into the playoffs.

Second, Marty Schotenheimer. Say what you want about his playoff record, but doesn't this Vikings team fit the Marty ball model?? Run the ball and play good defense. Marty would get 12-13 wins out of this team, no doubt.

Squints, no I didn't. That's interesting...makes him even more dissapointing.

cowher and schotenheimer would both be bomb.

but are either one of them looking to coach again?
