Me and Naps are sitting around ripping on Tony Kornheiser or however you spell that jackass' name. And I felt this would be an appropriate blog topic.
Why does Monday Night Football feel they need to have this "common man" feel to the booth?
I think it's almost insulting. Like we "need" Kornheiser to dumb football down enough for all of us to understand it.
Before him it was Dennis Miller, John Madden, Dan Deer Dork (or Deirdorf) and Boomer Esiason. All douche bags. The comedy is forced (Miller) or the commentators are just bumbling idiots (Madden, Deer Dork).
I've rarely had a problem with the play-by-play guy whether it was Al Michaels or Mike Torico. I also like the "football mind" guys. Jaws, Dan Fouts, Joe Theismann.
It's the "funny" guy who I always hate.
So I pose this: Who would you like to see in the booth with Torico and Jaws? Or would you just like two guys? Or are you frickin retarded enough to like Tony Kornhole? Weigh in, friends, weigh in.

Torico and Jaws would be fine with me. If you're gonna bring in a third guy, I'd go with one of the Mike's. They together would also be a fine substitute for Torico and Jaws (though I know its unrealistic).
Dump Kornholer, just go with Torico and Jaws.
Isn't it pretty much a proven fact that 3 man booths don't work?? It is too hard to have good chemistry during a broadcast with 3 guys babbling. Go with two. Kornheiser sucks.
During week 1 you could tell that Torico was annoyed with Korndog's massive boner for Britt Favre and even told him to quit talking about him before the second half started.
Korny isn't bad on PTI, probably because he's forced to talk about a different topic every 2 minutes, and its what he should stick to.
mike and mike should do basically everything at ESPN except baseball tonight and nascar now
i could live with that...
though i think greeny could do a better job than most baseball tonight guys.
