Great game. Defense played great, O-line had a better game and finally we have the ability to throw the ball downfield. Thank you GUS!!! Peterson only had 17 carries, but average almost 5 yards per and we were finally able to punch one into the endzone. Shiancoe actually held on to a pass, good for him. And again, thank you GUS!!!!
A steady quarterback makes the Vikes a completely different team. Without the constant three-and-outs, the defense is actually rested. The threat of the pass takes the extra defender out of the box and makes more room for Taylor and Peterson. We're Comin faster than Antoine Winfiled on a cornerback blitz.
Notice the t-shirt over polo gus is pulling off. Was he an ex-frat guy?? I wouldn't doubt it.
