Not all T-Jack's fault though. O-line was terrible both ways. No holes for Peterson and no time for T-Jack.
Offensive coordinator takes part of the blame too. WTF was he thinking calling two pass plays on 3rd and 4th and less than 1 yard? Sure the first time it worked and they scored a TD on the play, but even when it happened I commented on how bad a play call that was. The 2nd time is did NOT work and it stalled a promising drive late in the 4th quarter when we were definately still in the game. Why are we not using our best player in these situations rather than relying on the innacurate arm and poor decision making of T-Jack? F'n REDiculous!

bad play calling + non-existent jared allen + obnoxious officiating + tarvaris jackson throwing the ball all over the place + the nfl's love affair with aaron rodgers + being on the road in lambeau = BRAD CHILDRESS' FIFTH LOSS IN FIVE TRIES VS. THE PACK.
Vikings need to step up their tampering. The missing link is a QB. Vikes Mngmt knows it too, why else did they go after Farve. They need to cut our loss and admit we were wrong on betting on T-Jack. Hoping that he was the next Mike Vick, but nicer to dogs is not going to pan out.
Put it all on Tavaris. Horrible throws. If he could throw they would not rush so much or bring so many guys to the line. That O-line is picking up
6+ rushers every play. He makes everyone eles' job tougher, including A.P and the cordinator.
Tough way to start the season but at least it is only the start. We've seen this time and time again with the Vikes the past few years, with many aspects of the game aggrevating the fans.
To start, the offense. The first half was just BRUTAL, with the only highlight being AP breaking a couple nice runs. I give T-Jack a C+ overall. 16-35, 178 yds, 1TD and one costly INT. First of all, why is he throwing 35 times? I know we were trying to make a comeback, but he should never be asked to throw that much. The best part of his game is being able to run for 1st downs, and he got 65 yards rushing. On those short 3rd and 4th downs, why don't we get him out of the pocket and give him the run/pass option. As always, the play calling was PREDICTABLE. Pass on first, run on second, and leave yourself 3rd and long.
On to the defense. They didn't play horrible, but they were supposed to be the rock this year. I know our defensive line is improved, but does that mean we have to stop blitzing?? Eagles, Pats, Steelers, Chargers all have great defenses and they all blitz.
When it comes down to it, the game was decided on three big plays from the Pack. A long pass, a long run, and a long punt return. Eliminate the big play and we would have won.
Fuck Tony Korn-holer. Fuck aaron rodgers. I still hate "britt favre." Fuck Ted Thompson. Fuck T-Jack. Fuck Chili.
And, yes RedDog, Fuck Al Harris most of all. Cheapest player of the league. I think im going to send him a loop of the beginning of the Pull a Randy Moss video. "He burned Al Harris!!! Touchdown!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
great points, homeboy. oh, and just so you all know, i will be providing post game threads of all vikings games this season with cute win/lose picks. if there is an obvious "you've got to be kidding me" of the game, i'll go with it. if there's an obvious "........is comin'!!!" of the game, i'll go with it. if there is no clear decision on either side, i'll open up a poll for YOU to decide.
